  • Managed JIEDDO’s $300 million research and development budget
  • Led multiple national solicitations, yielding over 400 technology development proposals
  • Designed and implemented JIEDDO’s future capabilities development process
  • Led a study on the application of government sponsored venture capital for the discovery and development of mission capabilities

 Federal Contracting

  • Certified Contracting Officer Technical Representative
  • Managed 11 service contracts for JIEDDO’s Operations Division
  • Led a proposal evaluation board for a $60 million service contract

 Special Operations Policy Development

  • Supported the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy and Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (ASD SO/LIC)
  • Advised on USSOCOM oversight, Special Operations Force readiness and legislative engagement
  • Managed multiple policy studies, including counter-terrorism and inter-agency collaboration
  • Led the promulgation of DOD directives governing Irregular and Unconventional Warfare
  • Former legal associate on the mergers & acquisitions team at Hirschler Fleischer, PC
  • Participated in multiple financial transactions, including
    • a $58 million sale of a Virginia corporation to a private equity buyer; and
    • a $400 million merger of a privately held company with a public corporation
